4K HEVC（H.265）影片現時尚未流行，但相信不久將來便會如現時 H.264 影片般普及。業界巨擘 Intel 剛發布最新 Haswell、Broadwell 系處理器新 GPU 驅動程式，版本為 15.36.14.4080。該新版 Driver 除首度支援 HD Graphics 5500/6000 與 Iris Graphics 6100 外，還加入 4K HEVC 影片硬解和 VP9 影片半硬解，相當積極。不過經測試後，似乎現時尚未有 Codec 和 Player 可配合4K HEVC硬解，有待日後更新。現正使用 Haswell 或 Broadwell 系統的用家不妨安裝新 Driver 一試。
